RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF 4A FUNDS FOR
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS RELATED TO
EXPANSION OF THE ALLRED PRISON; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW
WHEREAS, the Department of Criminal Justice is planning to expand the
existing Allred Prison Unit by building a facility that would house up to 1,320
additional inmates, and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of June, 1998, the 4A Economic
Development Corporation met and recommended to the City Council that funding
in the amount of $140,000 be approved for sanitary sewer system improvements
to the Allred Prison Unit necessary for their expansion, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby approves the use of 4A funds for sanitary sewer
system improvements related to expansion of the Allred Prison.
