RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTION TO
THE GREATER TEXOMA AIR QUALITY COALITION FUND.;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, on June 16, 1998, the City Council authorized the Mayor to execute
a joint representation agreement to evaluate, assist, and otherwise respond to
proposals by the TNRCC in its implementation of any regional control strategy; and
WHEREAS, the primary mission of the Greater Texoma Air Quality Coalition has
been achieved; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to maintain a monitoring position regarding any future
developments related to the TNRCC's regional control strategy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to contribute $1,000 from
the General Fund, Account No. 100 - 1362- 75280, to the Greater Texoma Air Quality
Coalition Fund.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1 st day of December, 1998.
