RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
PERMIT FOR A FUND RAISING EVENT LOCATED WITHIN A LIMITED
COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT E ERM NING THAT THE MEETING
FALLS, ON NOVEMBER 14,1998; D
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Senior - Junior Forum is planning a fund raising event on
November 14, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Senior - Junior Forum has requested approval for a temporary
alcoholic beverage permit for this event at 2120 Speedway, Wichita Falls, Texas which
is located in a Limited Commercial zone; and,
WHEREAS, the requirements of Section 5420, Subsection 5 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Wichita Falls state that
may be ubject to the
zones other than GC, HC, HI, RDD, and CBD Y be authorized
approval of City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that approving this permit would be
in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A temporary alcoholic beverage permit is hereby approved for
November 14, 1998, for the Senior-Junior Forum f Wichita Falls, Texas. Rollin' On The
River" Casino /Dance, located at 2120 Speedway,
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined r ed by la
