RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO CLARKLIFT FOR
PURCHASE OF A LANDSCAPE TRACTOR IN THE AMOUNT OF
$15,919.; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has need for a small and
versatile landscape tractor for use in confined spaces in parks and medians; and
WHEREAS, Clarklift is the sole source for the Max Steiner Model 430 landscape
tractor; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Award of contract is made to Clarklift for the purchase of a Max
Steiner Model 430 landscape tractor in the amount of $15,919.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of February, 1999.
