RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY TO
TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A MATCHING
GRANT FOR A TRAIL IN HAMILTON PARK; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has found the establishment of trails to be of benefit to
citizens; and
and
WHEREAS, a trail in Hamilton Park will extend the existing trail in Weeks Park;
WHEREAS, the City has its share of matching funds of $25,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to Texas Parks
and Wildlife Department for a matching grant for a trail in Hamilton Park and the City
has its share of matching funds of $25,000.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
