RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF
CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR THE DESIGN OF THE EXTENSION OF A 12 -INCH
WATER LINE ON AIRPORT DRIVE; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, new development at the intersection of 1 -44 and Airport Drive
requires an adequate water supply; and
WHEREAS, a 12 -inch water line requires extension across 1 -44 to provide an
adequate water supply; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to retain the engineering firm of
Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. for the preparation of the plans and specifications for this
extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The contract between Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. for the
preparation of the plans and specifications for the extension of a 12 -inch water line on
Airport Drive is hereby approved at a cost of $5,000.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
