Ic RESOLUTION AWARDING A PROPOSAL TO PRODUCTIVE DATA SYSTEMS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $73,944.80 FOR COMPUTER SOFTWARE AND RELATED SERVICES FOR BUILDING INSPECTION AND CODE ENFORCEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE THE NECESSARY COMPUTER HARDWARE OFF THE STATE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, it is necessary to replace the computer systems for the City's Building Inspection and Code Enforcement operations; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were sent to qualified vendors for computer software and related implementation services; and WHEREAS, four proposals were received and evaluated; and WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by Productive Data Systems, Inc., was determined to be the most responsive to the City's needs, and WHEREAS, it is also necessary to purchase nine workstations and two network printers for the system, and WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase this equipment from the State Cooperative Purchasing Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The negotiated proposal submitted by Productive Data Systems, Inc., in the amount of $73,944.80 is hereby awarded for replacement of the City's Building Inspection and Code Enforcement software systems. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase nine workstations and two network printers from the State Cooperative Purchasing Program in the estimated amount of $16,500. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the fourth day of May, 1999.
