RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE WICHITA FALLS METROPOLITAN YMCA FOR
LICENSE TO USE BALLFIELDS IN KIWANIS AND JAYCEE PARKS FOR
THEIR SUMMER PROGRAM. DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Metropolitan YMCA has requested license for
extended reservation of eleven baseball fields in Kiwanis and Jaycee Parks; and,
WHEREAS, the YMCA has conducted previous programs in a satisfactory
manner with no significant problems reported; and,
WHEREAS, principal maintenance of the facilities will be performed by the
YMCA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a license
agreement with the Wichita Falls Metropolitan YMCA for extended reservation privilege
of eleven baseball fields in Kiwanis and Jaycee Parks
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of January, 1999.
