RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE
PHASE 3 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS COLLECTION SYSTEM
REPLACEMENT PROJECT; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls under the Unit Price Contract with Bowles
Construction Company with the estimated total cost $1,999,894.00; and
WHEREAS, certain sanitary sewer lines in Lynwood West Subdivision need
upsizing; and
WHEREAS, the City staff concurs that the changes are required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 1 for the Phase 3 Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Collection System Replacement Project in the amount of $30,128.00 is hereby
approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 with the
contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
