RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE FOR DONATION OF
MUNICIPAL COURT JUROR FEES TO WICHITA COUNTY TEEN
COURT; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita County Teen Court is an interagency program that
provides an alternative disposition for teenagers charged with minor criminal offenses;
and
WHEREAS, this program would benefit from the donations of Wichita Falls
Municipal Court jurors willing contribute their juror fees to this cause.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Any Wichita Falls Municipal Court juror voluntarily wishing to
donate juror fees to the Wichita County Teen Court may do so by executing a donation
form provided by the court. Any funds so donated shall be forwarded by the City of
Wichita Falls to the Wichita County Teen Court.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
