A RESOLUTION NAMING A BALLFIELD IN THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX
IN MEMORY OF LOUIS ESQUIBEL; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, it has been requested that the City name a facility /area in memory of
Louis Esquibel; and
WHEREAS, the request complies with the City Council resolution on guidelines
for naming City property for individuals; and
WHEREAS, the Park Board has recommended the naming of field #1 in the
Softball Complex in memory of Louis Esquibel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Field #1 in the Softball Complex is hereby named in memory of
Louis Esquibel and will be done in a manner not to make the preparation of schedules
difficult to understand.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
