RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE ARROWHEAD RAW WATER
SUPPLY SYSTEM - PUMP STATION MODIFICATIONS PROJECT;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Arrowhead Raw Water Supply system - Pump Station Modifications Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is F.G. Haggerty
Plumbing Company, who made a unit price bid of $1,854,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of F.G. Haggerty Plumbing Company, with an
estimated total of $1,854,000 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
