RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 3RD STREET RECONSTRUCTION
(CDBG) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO BOBBIE D.
HAYNES CONSTRUCTION; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract price with
Bobbie D. Haynes Construction with an estimated total cost of $49,430.82; and
WHEREAS, the actual cost of the work done is $44,340.99 of which $42,279.60
has been previously paid to the contractor leaving an amount due of $2,061.39; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 3rd Street Reconstruction (CDBG) Project is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
