RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS OFFICIALS
ASSOCIATION; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City requires officials and scorekeepers for it's sports leagues
and tournaments; and
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Officials Association has performed very
well on previous contracts with the City; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are budgeted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
the North Central Texas Officials Association for the provision of officiating and
scorekeeping services for City sports leagues and tournaments.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
