RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH BUNDY, YOUNG, SIMS, AND POTTER, INC. FOR
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
SECOND FLOOR OF THE LIBRARY; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, it is desirable to make improvements to the second floor of the
Library to enhance the recreational programs offered and to increse user safety; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Sales Tax Corporation Board has approved an allocation of
$400,000 for these improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to complete improvements before the programs of
spring, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Bundy, Young, Sims, and Potter, Inc. for architectural services for the improvements to
the second floor of the Library for the enhancement and safety of the recreational
programs offered.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
