RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A QUITCLAIM DEED TO HENRY T.
HAMMOND AND WIFE, NANCY HAMMOND, FOR A PORTION OF
BLOCK 8, BURLINGTON CALL FIELD INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, in 1996, Preston Products, Inc., by final plat of Lot 1 -C, Block 13 -A,
and Lot 2 -B, Block 8, Burlington Call Field Industrial District, dedicated 30 feet of right -
of -way; and,
WHEREAS, Henry T. Hammond and wife, Nancy Hammond, as the owners of
the property, did not authorize or consent to such dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached quitclaim
deed to Henry T. Hammond and wife, Nancy Hammond, for a portion of Block 8,
Burlington Call Field Industrial District.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF WICHITA §
THAT the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called
Grantor, acting by and through its duly authorized Mayor, for and in consideration of the
sum of Ten and No /100 ($10.00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, in
hand paid by Henry T. and Nancy Hammond, hereinafter called Grantee, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, has granted, sold, conveyed, released, and forever
quitclaims unto the said Grantee, all its right, title, and interest in and to the following
described real property situated in Wichita County, Texas, to -wit:
That portion of the street dedication contained in the Final Plat of
Lot 1 -C, Block 13 -A and Lot 2 -B, Block 8, Burlington Call Field
Industrial District, recorded in Volume 27, Page 56 of the Plat
Records of Wichita County, Texas, being described as follows:
BEGINNING at an °X" found in concrete at the South line of Lot
2 -A, Block 8, Burlington Call Field Industrial District, an addition to
the City of Wichita Falls according to the plat record at Volume
25, Pages 243 and 244, Wichita County Plat Records, said point
lies in the Northeast corner of Keith Street right -of -way;
THENCE North 00 01'30" East, 30' to an iron rod set in the South
line of Lot 2 -13, Block 8;
THENCE North 89° 59' East, 333.06' to an iron rod set in the
south line of Lot 2 -13, Block 8;
THENCE South 0° 03' 17" East, 28.97' to an iron rod found at the
Southeast corner of Lot 2 -A, Block 8;
,THENCE South 89° 48'22" West, 333.10' in the South line of Lot
2 -A, Block 8, to the Point of Beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above- described premises, together with all and singular
the appurtenances thereto, except as otherwise reserved, in any way belonging unto
the said Grantees, their heirs and assigns, as above provided.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, a municipal
corporation of Wichita County, Texas, has caused this instrument to be executed by its
Mayor this the rte, T1' day of September, 1999.
