RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATIONS #3, #5 AND #7 TO NORMAN
BRATCHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$2,524.799.00 AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CONTRACT FOR SAME; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of three new fire stations; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Norman Bratcher
Construction with a bid of $2,524,799.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said bid of Norman Bratcher Construction for the construction of
three fire stations is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
