RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL FOR
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to engage in services related to community
and economic development and reinvestment; and,
WHEREAS, the National Development Council provides the expertise related to
such services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to retain the services of the National
Development Council to that end.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into the necessary
agreement with the National Development Council for technical services as described
therein for a total cost of $80,000.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
