RESOLUTION NO. 46-2014
Resolution awarding bid for the purchase of a dual shaft tire
shredder and conveyor system to BESA Equipment LLC, in the
amount of $99,382.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a dual shaft tire shredder for the transfer station;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 14, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the lowest responsible bid for the purchase of
a dual shaft tire shredder was BESA Equipment LLC in the amount of $99,382.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of a dual shaft tire shredder is awarded to BESA
Equipment LLC in the amount of $99,382.00, and City Staff is authorized to execute all
documents to effectuate said purchase.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of May, 2014.
