Resolution authorizing the purchase of a trailer mounted
HydroSeeder through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing
Program from ROMCO Equipment Company in the amount of
$93,250.00
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this purchase is exempt from competitive
bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Gov’t Code § 271.102(c), which provides:
(c) A local government that purchases goods or services under this subchapter satisfies
any state law requiring the local government to seek competitive bids for the purchase of
the goods or services.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that ROMCO Equipment Company is offering
the FINN Model T170 HydroSeeder through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing
Program and it is in the City’s best interest to purchase this unit in accordance with the
Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase a FINN
Model T170 HydroSeeder from ROMCO Equipment Company through the Buy Board
Cooperative Purchasing Program, in the total amount of $93,250.00.
