ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1 , SUBSECTION ( a) ( 9)
AND SECTION 22-4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO
ALLOW THE POSTING OF ADVERTISING DEVICES AND THE
POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER AT HAMILTON
PARK AT THE "EASTER SEAL RUN" ON SATURDAY,
MARCH 19, 1988
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Runners Club and Coors
Golden Distributing Company are sponsoring the "Easter
Seal Run" , March 19, 1988, at Hamilton Park ; and ,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Runners Club has re-
quested a waiver of the applicable ordinances to allow
the posting of advertising material and the possession
and consumption of beer for the participants of this event ;
the City Council finds that the circumstances involved are
exceptional , and that such waivers should be granted .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
The provisions of Section 22-1 , Subsection (a) (9) , and
Section 22-4 of the Code of Ordinances are hereby waived to
allow the posting of advertising material , and to allow the
possession and consumption of beer , in Hamilton Park on
Saturday, March 19 , 1988, for the "Easter Seal Run" .
