AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOTS 6-16, BLOCK 73 , ORIGINAL
TOWNSITE, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FROM MULTI-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE ,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recom-
mended the rezoning of Lots 6-16, Block 73 , Original Townsite,
Wichita Falls, Texas be rezoned from Multi-Family Residential
zone to General Commercial zone; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems that the proposed rezoning of the area hereafter
described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan,
and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Lots 6-16, Block 73 , Original Townsite, Wichita Falls,
Texas, shown as the grey shaded area on the attached map (Attach-
ment No. 1) , is hereby rezoned from Multi-Family Residential zone
to General Commercial zone.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5th day of July, 1988.
