ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM
SANITATION FUND EQUITY FOR THE PURPOSES OF
CONSTRUCTING A LANDFILL LINER
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to have the Sanitary
Landfill operated in accordance with the appropriate Texas
Department of Health regulations; and
WHEREAS, the next area for the Sanitary Landfill needs to be
available during the latter part of December of 1988; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate $350,000.00 from the
Sanitation fund equity in order to construct this liner in time
to have the project approved and available for use by the latter
part of December.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
$350, 000. 00 is hereby appropriated from the Sanitation fund
equity to account #51-376-4367 for the purpose of construction of
a sanitary landfill liner and moving dirt.
