AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
WATER AND SEWER FUNDTO ACCOUNT NUMBERS LISTED
BELOW, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of Water and
Sewer Fund 83 an amount of $798,916.00 which shall be placed in
the following account numbers:
FUND ACCOUNT NO.
83 83-778-5232
SECTION 2 . A growing public necessity exists and this is an
emergency expenditure to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions
which could not, by reasonable, diligent thought and attention,
have been included in the original budget. The fact that this
amount is essential for the immediate use of the City of Wichita
Falls creates an emergency, therefore this ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage.
