Resolution to approve Change Order No. 2 for the completion of the
2013 Street Rehabilitation Project (CWF13-100-09) to decrease the
contract by $508,334.88 to account for area removed from the project
WHEREAS, Zack Burkett Company has completed the 2013 Street Rehabilitation
Project (CWF13-100-09);
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 will decrease the contract $508,334.88 for a
revised cost of $2,966,212.64; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feel
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached Change Order No. 2 to the 2013 Street Rehabilitation Project
(CWF13-100-09) is approved, in a deductive amount of $508,334.88 to account for area
removed from the project, and the City Manager is authorized to execute said change
order.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of April, 2014.
