I. Call to Order and Introductions
Clayton Lane called the meeting to order and all members and staff introduced
themselves.
II. Approval of Minutes
Penny Miller presented the draft minutes. Larry Scott moved the minutes of the February
meeting be approved. Michael Chapman seconded. Minutes were approved.
III. Presentation to City Council
Tom Lang reported on the presentation he and Stephen Garner made to the City Council.
Other members of the committee also attended the City Council meeting. The City Council
approved appropriation of$5500 for a contract with the RPS Group for their assistance in
preparing for an upcoming meeting with the Corps of Engineers to discuss what will be
required for permitting.

IV. Other Items of Discussion
Tom Lang also reported he would be meeting with the Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department in Austin to answer their questions and to be sure there is nothing that could
be a potential roadblock when the permit is processed through them.
Tom reported a group in Lakeside City may join the Friends of Reservoirs as a chapter to
provide another avenue for accepting donations. The meeting to determine that is
scheduled for next week.
Jack Murphy reported that the final RPS agreement would likely be signed later the day of
the committee meeting. There has been some finessing of the wording to be sure both
parties are clear on their respective responsibilities.

The meeting adjourned at 1:25 p.m.
