RESOLUTION NO. 41-2014
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a consultant
services agreement with MuniServices, LLC to conduct sales tax
compliance reviews
WHEREAS, the sales and use tax is a major revenue source for the City of
Wichita Falls;
WHEREAS, MuniServices LLC is a company that specializes in conducting
audits and reviews of sales tax collection and remittance procedures of businesses; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a consulting services agreement with
MuniServices to conduct such a review for the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached Consultant
Services Agreement with MuniServices LLC to conduct sales tax compliance reviews,
with changes as approved by the City Attorney.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of April, 2014.
