RESOLUTION NO. 33-2014
Resolution awarding bids to OK Concrete for the City’s estimated
annual requirement of Class S, Curb & Gutter, Class C-C Ready Mix
and Flowable Fill in a total estimated amount of $298,975.00 and to
ABC Ready Mix for Class A Ready Mix in an estimated amount of
$30,400.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the City’s
estimated annual requirement of Ready Mix Concrete and Flowable Fill;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 11, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase Ready Mix Concrete and
Flowable Fill for use by various City departments during the next twelve-month period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the City’s estimated annual requirements of Class S, Curb & Gutter,
Class C-C Ready Mix and Flowable Fill is awarded to OK Concrete in the amount of
$298,975.00, and the bid for Class A Ready Mix is awarded to ABC Ready Mix in the
amount of $30,400.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March, 2014.
