RESOLUTION NO. 35-2014
Resolution awarding bid to replace the roof at Memorial Auditorium
to Armored Roofing in the amount of $184,000
WHEREAS, funds were included in the 2013-14 budget to replace the roof at the
Memorial Auditorium/City Hall;
WHEREAS, on March 6, 2014, bids were received from roofing contractors to
perform this work; and
WHEREAS, Armored Roofing of Wichita Falls submitted the lowest bid in the
amount of $184,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for roofing the Memorial Auditorium/City Hall is hereby awarded to
Armored Roofing in the amount of $184,000, and City staff are authorized to execute all
documents necessary to effectuate the transaction.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of March, 2014.
