Ord 111-88 10/4/1988 • 1 Ordinance No. 111-88 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT FEE ORDINANCE 85-87 BY CHANGING SECTION 2. , SUBSECTION 1. BUILDING PERMITS, SUBSECTION 2. ELECTRICAL PERMITS, SUBSECTION 3 . PLUMBING PERMITS AND SUBSECTION 4. MECHANICAL PERMITS. WHEREAS, the Inspection Division Staff has studied existing construction permit fees and, WHEREAS, such study has determined that certain methods of permit fee calculations and charges are in need of updating, NOW, THERE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. SECTION 2, Subsection 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Ordinance 85-87 are hereby amended to read as follows: "1. BUILDING PERMITS A minimum fee of $15.00 shall be charged for issuing any class of permit required by the Building Code and as required herein. In addition to the minimum fee there shall be charged the following inspection fees: A. New Building Construction or Addition ( 1) Single Family or Duplex Residence $ .05 per Sq. Ft. of Building or Addition ( 2) Single Family or Duplex use storage, $.03 per Sq. Ft. of outbuilding, carport or patio Building or Addition ( 3 ) Commercial use (Includes all other $ .09 per total Sq. occupancies not listed above) Ft. of Building or Addition (4) Commercial Storage Building $ .03 per total Sq. ELECTRICAL PERMITS A minimum fee of $15. 00 shall be charged for issuing any class of electrical permit required by the Electrical Code. In addition to this minimum permit fee there shall be charged the following inspection fees: A. In addition to the minimum permit fee there shall be charged the following inspection fees. A. For the installation or complete change- out of an environmental air conditioning system or systems or equipment in each building.
