ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM
SANITATION FUND EQUITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
A SANITATION COST OF SERVICE STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to have staff coordinate a
Cost of Service Study for the services provided to the public by
the Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to utilize the services of a rate
consultant to review and advise the staff with respect to proper
rate making procedures; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate $5,000 from the
Sanitation fund equity in order to provide fees for consulting
services related to the Cost of Service Study; and
WHEREAS, this need for expenditure of funds was unforeseen
and could not have been anticipated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
$5, 000 is hereby appropriated from the Sanitation fund
equity to account 51-376-4430 for the purpose of providing funds
for consultant review and advice related to a Cost of Service
Study.
