AN ORDINANCE RENAMING DELTA LANE/HOG FARM ROAD TO RIVER
LANE AND A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST PARKWAY/FM 369 TO ARENA
ROAD
WHEREAS, the U.S. Postal Service has requested that the
name of Delta Lane/Hog Farm Road be changed to River Lane and
the name of a portion of Southwest Parkway/F.M. 369 lying north
of Seymour Highway to the city limits be changed to Arena Road;
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission conducted a
public hearing and has recommended the street names be changed
as described above; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the street name
changes hereunder described are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of Delta Lane/Hog Farm Road is hereby
changed to RIVER LANE.
SECTION 2 . The name of the portion of Southwest Parkway/
F.M. 369 lying north of Seymour Highway to the city limits line
is hereby changed to ARENA ROAD.
