ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1 (a) (9) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT ADVERTISING SIGNS IN JAYCEE PARE, ON
APRIL 15, 1989 FOR THE Y.A.A.C. CONCERT.
WHEREAS, the Youth Activities Advisory Committee
(Y.A.A.C. ) desires to host a concert program April 15, 1989
in Jaycee Park; and,
WHEREAS, donors have been solicited to help with
operating expenses of the program and they desire to be
allowed to post advertising signs or banners; and,
WHEREAS, the event is of a non-profit nature.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22-1 (a) (9) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived to allow the posting of advertising signs or banners
on April 15, 1969 in Jaycee Park for the Y.A.A.C. sponsored
concert program.
