ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 20-14. 1 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES WHICH HAS BEEN
DUPLICATED BY RECENT AMENDMENTS TO
CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE PERTAINING TO THE
KEEPING OF POISONOUS REPTILES WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, has directed the City staff to update obsolete sections of
the Code of Ordinances; and,
WHEREAS, Section 20-14. 1 of the Code of Ordinances
prohibiting the keeping of poisonous reptiles within the city
limits has been duplicated in provisions of Chapter 5 of the Code
entitled "Animal Control. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 20-14. 1 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
repealed.
