Resolution rejecting all bids for the Expressway Village Park Pond
(CWF13-734-13)
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Expressway Village Park Pond
Project (CWF13-734-13), but the lowest bid exceeded the amount budgeted for the
proposed project; and
WHEREAS, City staff intend to reassess project requirements and conduct value
engineering to reduce the scope of the project to an amount that will be fiscally prudent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
All bids for the Expressway Village Park Pond Project (CWF13-734-13) are
rejected.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of February, 2014.
