Resolution approving Change Order No. 2 for the Temporary Water
Reuse Conveyance Facilities Project (CWF13-550-16) in an amount of
$53,888.64
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price contract with
Bowles Construction Co. for the Temporary Water Reuse Conveyance Facilities Project
(CWF13-550-16) with the estimated total cost of $8,389,614.95;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 will increase the contract $53,888.64 for a
revised cost of $8,806,103.59; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feel that
it is in the City’s best interest to approve it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached Change Order No. 2 for the Temporary Water Reuse Conveyance
Facilities Project (CWF13-550-16) is approved, in the amount of $53,888.64, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute said change order, with changes as approved by
the City Attorney.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of February, 2014.
