ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO
PERMIT SALE AND CONSUMP ! ION OF BEER AT THE SOFTBALL FIELD IN
SCOTLAND PARK JUNE 9-11 , 1989 FOR A FAST PITCH SOFTBALL
TOURNAMENT SPONSORED BY THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS OFFICIALS
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Officials Association
will be hosting a fast pitch softball tournament in Scotland
Park 9-1l June ' 89; and ,
WHEREAS, the Association has requested the right to
sell beer at such event for the increased pleasure of
spectators and revenue; and
WHEREAS, the Association has conducted a number of
tournaments in a highly responsible manner .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
Section 22-4 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived to permit the sale and consumption of beer at the
softball field in Scotland Park 9-11 June ' 89 for a fast
pitch softball tournament sponsored by the North Central
Texas Officials Association.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of June 1989.
