ORDINANCE WAIVING APPENDIX A SUBDIVISIONS
SECTION 9 (B) (2) (a) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES WITH RESPECT TO PLACING CURB AND
GUTTER ON THE OLD IOWA PARK ROAD (BUSINESS
RT. 370) , LOT 1, BLOCK 1, H. R. WOOD
SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the subject section of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to provide

for the proper and orderly development of land inside of the city
limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, the granting of a waiver with respect to Appendix A
Section 9 (B) (2) (a) , which requires the construction of curb
and gutter on all interior streets and on the subdivision side of
all streets fronting part of the boundary of the subdivision,
would not be contrary to the stated objective when applied to the
south line of Lot 1, Block 1, H. R. Wood Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said requirement for curb and gutter along the Old Iowa Park
Road (Business Loop 370) abutting the south line of Lot 1, Block
1, H. R. Wood Subdivision is waived in the case of this property.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 6TH DAY OF JULY, 1989 .
