AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A
TEN FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 9, BLOCK 17 , STEHLIK &
BABER SUBDIVISION, WILLOW BEND ESTATES, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the closing of a portion of a ten ( 10) foot wide
utility easement in Lot 9, Block 17 , Stehlik & Baber Subdivision,
Willow Bend Estates, Wichita Falls, Texas is necessary to obtain a
clear title to the property; and,
WHEREAS, such portion of the utility easement described above
is no longer required; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls deems
that the closing of the portion of the utility easement described
hereunder is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The southerly 4. 5 feet of a ten ( 10) foot wide utility
easement in Lot 9, Block 17 , Stehlik & Baber Subdivision, Willow
Bend Estates, Wichita Falls, Texas, and more specifically being
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of Lot 9 , Block 17,
Stehlik & Baber Subdivision, Willow Bend Estates S 23° 44 '
E a distance of 5. 5 feet from its Northeast corner;
THENCE S 23° 44 ' E with the East line of said Lot 9 a
distance of 4 . 5 feet to the South line of the easement;
THENCE S 66° 16 ' W with the South line of the easement a
distance of 65.0 feet;
THENCE N 23° 44 ' W a distance of 4. 5 feet;
THENCE N 66° 16 ' E parallel to and 5.5 feet South of the
North line of said Lot 9, a distance of 65.0 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING,
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
