ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM GENERAL FUND EQUITY FOR
PURPOSES OF PROVIDING PUBLIC HEALTH
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls received $11, 658 from the
Texas Department of Health under the State Legalization Impact
Assistance Grants program in Fiscal Year 1988-89, and
WHEREAS, the Health Department was unable to expend these
funds in the fiscal year in which they were received, and
WHEREAS, the Health Department requests authority to expend
these funds in Fiscal Year 1989-90, and
WHEREAS, it was not anticipated that these funds would be
available for appropriation in the Fiscal Year 1989-90 budget
adopted by the City Council on September 6, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated from General Fund Equity
$11, 658 in budget unit 11-825 for purposes of providing public
health services. ff
