ORDINANCE CANCELLING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 2, 1990.
WHEREAS, several members of the City Council will be absent
from the City on January 2, 1990, which is the date of the first
scheduled City Council meeting in January, and it is determined
that such Council meeting ought to be cancelled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council meeting scheduled for January 2, 1990, is
hereby cancelled.
The fact that public notice and official action concerning
the January 2, 1990 Council meeting needs to be taken within a
period of less than 30 days creates an emergency, and this
ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency which shall
become effective immediately upon its passage.
