ORDINANCE NO. 92-89
ORDINANCE CHANGING THE DATE OF THE FIRST
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING IN JANUARY,
1990, FROM JANUARY 2, 1990, TO THE 4th DAY OF
JANUARY, 1990.
WHEREAS, the first scheduled City Council meeting in
January, 1990, is scheduled for January 2; however, a number of
the City Council will be out of the City on that date and unable
to attend said scheduled meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The date of the first regular City Council meeting in
January, 1990, is hereby changed from Tuesday, January 2, 1990,
to January 4, 1990, at 8: 30 o'clock a.m.
The fact that there are items of City business that need to
be attended to in that week creates an emergency, and this
ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure which shall
become effective immediately upon its passage.
