Ord 35-90 6/5/1990 . Ordinance No. 35-90 AN ORDINANCE REZONING A PORTION OF WICHITA FALLS ATHLETIC COMPLEX, BLOCK 1, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE (SF-2) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) ZONE WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended that a 320 foot by 320 foot portion of Wichita Falls Athletic Complex, Block 1, Wichita Falls, Texas be rezoned from a Single- Family Residential (SF-2) zone to a General Commercial (GC) zone; and, WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the rezoning of the area hereunder described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The three hundred and twenty (320) feet by three hundred and twenty (320) feet portion of Wichita Falls Athletic Complex, Block 1, Wichita Falls, Texas, lying adjacent and abutting Southwest Parkway and Barnett Road, shown as the grey shaded area on the attached map (Attachment No. 1) , is hereby rezoned from Single-Family Residential (SF-2) to a General Commercial (GC) zone. 01.1111e.
