ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM
GENERAL FUND EQUITY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$15, 000 TO ACCOUNT 11-015-4451 FOR
PURPOSES OF HOLDING A SPECIAL ELECTION
ON AUGUST 11, 1990
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has
approved an ordinance calling for a special election for
August 11, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this special election will be to
submit proposed amendments to the City Charter of the City of
Wichita Falls; setting forth the proposed amendments; prescribing
the form of the propositions, and naming election officials and
polling places; and,
WHEREAS, this particular election and the expenses
associated with it were unable to be anticipated prior to the
adoption of the FY1989-90 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated from General Fund Equity the
amount of $15, 000 to account 11-015-4451 for purposes of holding
a special election on August 11, 1990.
