ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
IN THE GENERAL FUND FROM GRANT REVENUE
RECEIVED FROM THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE
DIVISION, GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR PURPOSES
OF A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH/FOOT PATROL
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1990 the City Council passed
Resolution Number 61-90 authorizing the City Manager and the
Police Department to submit a grant application to the Governor's
Office, Criminal Justice Division for purposes of a Neighborhood
Watch/Foot Patrol, and
WHEREAS, this Neighborhood Watch/Foot Patrol has been
approved for funding, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant is $8, 600 and requires no
matching funds from the City, and
WHEREAS, approval of this grant could not nave been
anticipated with the adoption of the Fiscal Year 1990-91 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the General Fund, Budget
Unit 11-816, the amount of $8, 600 from grant revenue received
from the Criminal Justice Division, Governor's Office for the
purpose of the Neighborhood Watch/Foot/Patrol.
