ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22-1 (a) (2) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT VEHICLES ON THE GRASS DURING A FLYING
EVENT IN JAYCEE PARK 13 OCTOBER 1990.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Radio Control Club wishes to
host a charity flying event in Jaycee Park on 13 October
1990; and,
WHEREAS, to make their event more successful they wish
the participating flyers be granted permission to drive
vehicles upon the grass; and,
WHEREAS, circumstances in this request are exceptional .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22-1 (a) (2) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived to permit the participating flyers to drive on the
grass during the Wichita Falls Radio Club 's charity flying
event in Jaycee Park 13 October 1990.
