Resolution approving Change Order No. 1 to Work Order No. 20 to
the City’s Professional Services Agreement with URS Corporation for
additional Parking Lot/Entry Road Engineering Services at Wichita
Falls Regional Airport in an amount of $90,613.35
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with URS
Corporation with an estimated total cost of $397,727.55;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will add $90,613.35 to the contract for a revised
cost of $488,340.90;
WHEREAS, the FAA will pay for 90% of the cost of the change order or
$81,552.02 and the City of Wichita Falls will pay for the remaining 10% or $9,061.33;
and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and believes
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached Change Order (Amendment) No. 1 to Work Order No. 20 to the
City’s Professional Services Agreement with URS Corporation for additional Parking
Lot/Entry Road engineering services for the Phase I Entry Road/Parking Lot project at
Wichita Falls Regional Airport (AIP No. 3-48-0346-14) is hereby approved, with changes
thereto in a form approved by the City Attorney, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change order (amendment) in an
estimated amount of $90,613.35.
