Resolution awarding the bid for the purchase of one 54,000 GVW cab
and chassis to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $83,883
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one 54,000 GVW cab & chassis;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on December 5, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Wichita Falls Freightliner is the low bidder
for the purchase of one 54,000 GVW cab & chassis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of one 54,000 GVW cab & chassis is awarded to
Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $83,883, and City staff is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to purchase said item.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of January, 2014.
