Resolution awarding the bid for the purchase of one 58,000 GVW
transfer truck to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $118,982
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one 58,000 GVW transfer truck;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on December 5, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Wichita Falls Freightliner is the lowest
bidder meeting specifications for the purchase of one 58,000 GVW transfer truck for the
sanitation fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of one 58,000 GVW transfer truck is awarded to Wichita
Falls Freightliner in the amount of $118,982, and City staff is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to complete the purchase.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of January, 2014.
