Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for a
Regional and Local Health Services Grant in the amount of $34,956
received from the Texas Department of State Health Services and
authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract accepting said
funds
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2013-2014 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $34,956 for the
Regional and Local Health Services Grant, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract with the Texas Department of State Health Services for the Wichita
Falls-Wichita County Health District for the receipt and administration of said grant.
